Our client is seeking a Perl Developer/Tester to help with the implementation of a Voice Recognition Software to their clients in the Bay Area CA. The candidate in this role will be responsible for creating test plans and test cases, based on the project requirement and UI/Engineering designs. The candidate will also be responsible for creating test scripts using Perl to automate back-end API tests, and executing automated test-suites for back-end API’s as well as manual tests.

The candidate must meet the following qualifications:
Extensive Perl scripting/development experience
Minimum 3 years of QA Experience, preferably white box testing
BS in computer science.
Able to create a test plans and test cases
Strong debugging, and analytical and problem solving skills.
Able to work independently and as a team-player.
Good communication skills.
Passion for excellence in quality.
Working knowledge of UNIX, with a strong preference for Solaris.
